FAQ
Good to know.
Straightforward answers about getting started, choosing coverage and working with DeltaBind.
Getting started
Who is DeltaBind for?
We help people at home and at work feel more confident with technology. Residential help starts with a conversation. Businesses can choose Computer Care, Email Care, Managed Passwords, Microsoft 365 licenses and optional upgrades. We confirm the work and price before you commit.
Can I keep the computers and accounts I already have?
Often, yes. We review your current setup, supported software and access requirements before confirming what we can manage. Any equipment replacement, migration or additional licensing is discussed separately.
Can you help us change IT providers?
We can review your existing setup and plan an agreed handover. Access, licenses, backups, notice periods and any migration work need to be coordinated before services are removed. Timing and costs depend on your environment.
Can you work with our existing IT person?
We can discuss a shared scope alongside your internal IT contact or an existing specialist. Before accepting the work, we identify who owns administration, security alerts, support escalation and projects. Responsibilities and any additional charges belong in the agreed scope.
What should we bring to the first conversation?
Approximate counts of computers and email users, your current services and the changes you want to make are enough to begin. A recent service invoice or coverage list can help with comparison. Do not send passwords or confidential client documents through a sales inquiry.
Where are you based?
Our retail space is at 726 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, CA 92223, in the same building as the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. Call 860-GET-NERD to arrange a visit. We also provide remote support.
Services and coverage
How do Computer Care, Email Care and Business Email fit together?
Computer Care covers Windows PCs and Macs. Email Care includes account administration and Guardz Ultimate email and account protection. Business Email is the Microsoft license. Choose each separately, then add the upgrades you need. Cloud migrations and substantial changes receive their own project scope.
What is included in Managed Passwords?
Managed Passwords is $10 per user monthly before tax, including Keeper licensing and DeltaBind local support. Read only, editor and client administrator permissions use the same rate. DeltaBind provides setup guidance, administrator training, sharing guidance and ongoing support. Additional implementation or migration work is confirmed in your quote.
Who manages our password access?
Your nominated client administrator handles routine users, teams and approved access in your organization. DeltaBind helps with setup, training and support. Administrator status does not automatically expose private vaults. Removing access cannot erase a password someone previously copied, so affected credentials may also need to change.
Does computer protection include email protection?
Not automatically. Computer and email coverage are separate scopes. Choose computers, email or both when you contact us so we can review the right combination.
Do you support Apple devices?
Yes. Supported Macs share the same Computer Care service and $50 monthly price as Windows PCs. Mac enrollment permissions and operating system support are confirmed at setup. Apple MDM is not included in this service.
Do you provide support around the clock?
The optional $15 per computer 24/7 Emergency Response upgrade adds ThreatDown MDR specialist response to covered endpoint threats. DeltaBind general support remains within the availability agreed for your service.
Can you come to our office?
We arrange onsite work according to your location, the work required and availability. Scope and charges are agreed before a visit.
Is backup included?
Backup is optional for new services. Computer Backup uses Acronis at $10 per computer plus $0.08 per GB stored monthly, which is $30 at 250 GB. Email Backup is $5 per protected user monthly. Existing contracted backup inclusions stay in place.
Pricing and quotes
How is the price calculated?
Computer Care is $50 per Windows PC or Mac monthly. Email Care is $50 per user monthly. Managed Passwords is $10 per user monthly, including Keeper licensing and local support. Microsoft licenses and upgrades appear as separate line items. The calculator distinguishes those recurring charges from setup and projects that need a quote.
Does submitting a quote request commit me to anything?
No. It asks us to review your selections and contact you. We confirm the price and coverage with you before service begins.
Are Microsoft licenses included in support?
No. Microsoft licenses are separate from Computer Care and Email Care. Choose Business Basic, Standard or Premium, or keep your existing subscriptions. We review commitments before changing licenses.
Does a monthly price mean I can cancel every month?
No. Displayed monthly cost and contractual commitment are different. Your accepted order identifies the term, billing frequency, renewal, cancellation conditions and any setup work. Microsoft licensing commitments are reviewed separately from DeltaBind service scope.
What if we add staff or buy more computers?
Let us know before the change when possible. We review the additional devices, users and setup work and confirm the effect on service and billing under your agreement.
Are migrations and new projects included?
Work outside your agreed plan needs a separate scope and quote. Examples can include moving email, reorganizing shared files, replacing a network or setting up a new office.
For existing clients
How do I request help?
Use the Support page or Client Portal to open a request and follow its progress. Describe what happened, who is affected and any error message. Avoid putting passwords or sensitive documents in the request.
How do I send you documents securely?
Use Secure Upload in the Support area when we ask for documents. The page connects to our SendSafely upload service. Confirm the intended recipient and follow any instructions from your DeltaBind contact.
Where do I pay an invoice?
The Pay your bill page explains the Syncro client portal and links to it. Payment methods and invoice access depend on the account and options available in your portal.
What if I suspect a security problem?
Use your established support contact promptly and explain what you observed. Tell us if anyone entered a password, approved an unexpected sign in or sent a payment. Keep the relevant messages and avoid including sensitive information in a general sales form.
